I’m an artist and surface pattern designer in Ontario, Canada. I create original artwork that explores color, pattern, and structure using primarily fabric, paint, paper, and thread.

I start my work with a question or concept and use whatever medium seems like it will work best to carry it out. I’m a lifelong artist, learning from ongoing practice, experimentation, and classes in drawing, painting, bookmaking, lampworking, and pottery at schools in the U.S. and Canada. 

I’m inspired by literature, children’s art, quilt designs, nature, and small details and observations from ordinary life.
